Reviews
This place is way better and more legit than a lot of places I've been to in Portland. It's a fun environment with great energy. The employees are kind and friendly. They have karaoke near the bar and restaurants! It's nice to see so many people smiling and enjoying themselves. The food is amazing! Salsas at the salsa bar are delicious and the verde is actually spicy enough, which is really refreshing because I've had some bad, seriously bland salsas that tasted like vinegar and tomatillo only at places in inner SE. Lots of vendors with exactly what one would expect at a pulga. Women's restroom is clean and has a changing table; I was told the men's was clean, too. This place is rad and I'll definitely be back! Also, anyone who's made negative comments about this place is probably a troll, a hater, or just plain racist.
This flea market has so much going on, I recommend experiencing it at least once. It's the most flea-market-ey flea market you could ever imagine. So much so that's there's multiple parts of the place that look like large piles of lost & found, & an entire back section of heaps of thrown out items for $1 each. Mixed in there's some more legit booths like clothing, jewelry, toys, food vendors, etc. Lots of friendly people & some fun stuff to look at. There's a few things missing selection wise that you'd probably expect, so for that I give it 4 stars. What's so awesome is the restaurant + bar + karaoke! This place turns into a PARTY. I loved walking around the booths while awful karaoke was happening, & then when we sat to eat there were many good singers who came up. The range of "performers" puts a smile on anyones face and it's impossible not to enjoy. Just a great vibe here.
